The Government of Pakistan Planning Commission, under the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiative, has announced new career opportunities for talented professionals. These positions are offered at the Pakistan Urban Planning & Policy Centre (PUPPC) under the World Bank–funded project “Capacity Building and Institutional Strengthening of MoPD&SI”.

Appointments will be made on a contract basis for two years, extendable based on performance and project continuation.

Position	Qualification & Experience
Urban and Regional Planning Specialists (PPS-09)	– Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning/PhD. – Certifications in urban planning sector (preferred). – Minimum 10 years’ experience in urban sector. – Proficiency in computer, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
Urban Infrastructure Specialists (PPS-09)	– Master’s Degree in Infrastructure Development / Civil Engineering / PhD. – Certifications in the urban sector (preferred). – Minimum 10 years’ experience in infrastructure and urban development. – Strong IT and communication skills.
Land Management and Resettlement Specialist (PPS-09)	– Master’s Degree in City & Regional Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Land & Housing Management, Real Estate, Land Use Planning, or Resettlement. – PhD and higher certifications will be preferred. – Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience. – Proficiency in computer, excellent communication, and leadership skills.
Assistant Director – Information Technology	– Minimum BS (16 years) in Computer Sciences from HEC-recognized institute (foreign or local). – At least 5 years of professional IT experience. – Strong analytical & problem-solving skills. – Ability to handle IT security incidents. – Leadership qualities to provide innovative IT solutions.
